PROGRAM: RAA member,and award winning artist Jane Taylor will present a
demonstration with stained glass. Jane is known for her watercolors,
photography, sumi-e,computer skills and murals throughout the City Of Rome.
she is a retired art teacher from Rome City Schools, and is presently
serving as our RAA President.

Artist Of the Month: October artist of the month selection will be Crafts.

Board Of Directors Meeting: Will be held Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 6:30
PM at Rome Y.

by the November meeting, which allows us to plan and pay for upcoming

You are invited to attend a CNYWS Demo Night and Juried show
Reception,Friday evening, September 23rd from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. This event is
held outside the Edith Barrett Gallery downstairs in the Library Concourse at
Utica College, and is free and open to the public. eight watercolor artists
will demonstrate their watercolor painting techniques. One of the
participating artists is RAA member Sandra Z. DeVisser. The juried
watercolor exhibit will be open in the Edith Barrett Gallery from September 5th to the 24th.for more info contact:centralnewyorkwatercolor society.org.

Drawings for our RAA Tee Shirt contest are due at the October meeting.
Remember, no more than three colors. The chosen design will be printed on
good quality tee shirts and sold as a fund raiser. The winner will receive a
free Tee shirt.
