PROGRAM:Student Artists of the Month and RAA Scholarship Winners Reception
and Exhibition. Elementary students will receive their certificates
first followed at 7:45 by the scholarship winners portfolio presentations.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet these talented emerging artists and
their dedicated teachers.

NO BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING THIS MONTH.
Many thanks to Sandra Devisser for her engaging critique at last month's
meeting. she never fails to teach us something new and entertain us at the
same time.
The RAA made $ 258.70 at this years Estate Sale at the RACC on May 14 and
15. thank you everyone who donated items and shopped. Special thanks to
Lauren Getek who invited us to be part of this event. the profits support
our scholarships.
Would you like to design a tee shirt for the Rome Art Association? Draw or
paint your idea and bring it to our July meeting. Limit your rendering to no
more than 3 colors. the selected image will be printed on high quality
shirts and offered for sale.
Would you like to meet, talk and dine with other area artists? the Utica Art
Association has invited us to join them at the East Dynasty Restaurant in
New Hartford on June 24th at 6 PM. No reservations are necessary.
Congratulations to our RAA members whose works were selected for the RACC's
Recycled Art Challenge. Kudos to Kristie Boisen who was awarded Best Of
Show; Sandra DeVisser-First Place; Brenda Antonowicz-Second Place; Pat
Besl-Third Place and Diane Berry-Honorable Mention.
Coming Soon: the RACC Regional Fine Arts Exhibition, drop off May 28th and

The Rome Art Association's 52nd Member Exhibition prospectus will be mailed
out in the July Brushmarks. the show is in August this year.
