The February Program: Featuring Patti Mollica of the Golden Paint

the Utica and Rome Art Associations, and we learned a lot of things
one can do with Golden Paints and Gels, including some new products.
We hope to invite Patti again in the near future.

Would you like to be an Officer or Board Member? Our President or Dan
Bertrand, Nominating Committee, would like to hear from you. Our slate
of Officers and Board Members will be presented in the next
Brushmarks. Voting will take place at the May meeting.Dan's number is:
337-7769.

*It has been suggested that we have a day at Root Glen at Hamilton
College in conjunction with the Utica Art Association, where we can
picnic and plein air paint. This would be in June, possibly the last
Saturday. Bring your thoughts and ideas to the meeting. It sounds like
a lot of fun and there will be a rain date if necessary.

There will be a discussion at the next Board Meeting on the
cancellation of our meetings in case of inclement weather. Members

ARTISTS WANTED FOR M&T BANK CLOTHESLINE FESTIVAL

ARTISTS WANTED FOR M&T BANK CLOTHESLINE FESTIVAL
Long-Running Fine Art and Crafts Festival Celebrates 56th Anniversary

ROCHESTER, NY -- Artists from across New York state are invited to apply for spaces at the M&T Bank Clothesline Festival, a juried fine art and crafts festival held on the grounds of the Memorial Art Gallery. The long-running event, which this year takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, will showcase more than 400 artists residing in all counties of New York.

HOW TO APPLY
A downloadable application is available at <http://clothesline.rochester.edu>. The application deadline is Friday, March 23, with space assignments mailed Monday, June 11. If spaces remain, updates will be posted on the website. For more information call the Memorial Art Gallery events office at 585-276-8950, or email <clothesline@mag.rochester.edu>.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Fifty-six years after the first Clothesline, Rochester's largest and longest-running fine art and crafts festival continues to evolve. It's now the place to experience all-day live entertainment, sample food from some of Rochester's favorite vendors, enjoy free family art activities, visit the museum, and of course, browse and buy original artwork throughout the grounds.

Each year sees the addition of more festivals, but Clothesline remains a favorite with artists. Because the Gallery charges admission and screens the work of the exhibitors, serious shoppers are more in evidence than at other festivals.

Clothesline remains popular with visitors, too. In recent years, it has earned five "Best of Rochester" awards from City Newspaper readers.
