Gary Price's acrylic painting "The Tree Angel" won the Best of Show Award at The Utica Art Association's Fall Exhibit. The Exhibit runs until November 10th at The Cogar Gallery/HCCC.

PROGRAM: Self Critiques-Each member may discuss one piece of their work. Jane suggested members bring in electronic copies of their art if possible.

Board of Directors Meeting: Will be held, Thursday, November 3rd, 6 PM at Rome Family-Y-DyettRoom,prior to the regular meeting.

Many thanks to Jane Taylor for her stained glass photos and stained glass cutting and forming demonstration at our October meeting. Thanks also to Sarah and Gary Price for providing and donating our great refreshments for our October meeting.

Our Christmas Party is December 1^st at the Franklin Hotel, 6:30 for cocktails and dinner at 7 PM. If you wish to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped ornament, handmade or store bought at cost of no more than $5.00. Same great menu still just $16.00 for: roast beef, chicken, eggplant parmesan, greens, roasted potatoes, salad, rolls, coffee, tea, water, minature canola, crème puffs and éclairs. Our membership year begins in September. Dues are now due. To remain a member in good standing, you should pay your dues by the November meeting. “Local Artist Illustrates Book”-Jane Taylor has illustrated the book” The Legend of Beardsly Manor” based on a legend in the Herkimer and Little Falls area.
